Designing a website for a restaurant relies heavily on an effective website able to showcase food effectively, and
then give the user the clear actionable items they’re looking for as early as possible.
Website Styling
Management at Mikata Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar emphasized the need for an elegant design that showed restraint. We didn’t want to make it over-designed or busy, but rather keep it clean and elegant.
Traditional Story
We developed a unique site that still holds to the traditional stylings of Mikata and their story. Keeping everything black & white allowed us to bring more attention to the red logo and food pictures.
