In order to separate ourselves from the other kegel device brands that are out there, we wanted to make sure our design leveraged feminie styles that weren’t overtly sales-pitch oriented.
Different Brands
For educated shoppers, or customers looking for a particular brand, we knew that we needed to showcase the different product lines that Yarlap has available. Showing brands with customer reviews of reputable companies also helps garner trust with the user.
Modern Design
Many single product e-commerce stores rely too heavily on stock imagery and fake testimonials to prop up their product. Since Yarlap was already so overly approved and ubiquitous to their target market, our design was able to focus on the lifestyle of kegels.
Kegel Exercise Device Website Development Process
Research and analysis.
Looking at the competitors for Yarlap, we discovered that there was a void of professional, business-minded website designs for kegel exercise device companies. Service industry designs have been moving to uber-corporate, buttoned-up designs for the past few years, and instead of going fully in that direction, we wanted to present the Yarlap brand as one that offers quality on a higher level than the available competitors.

Showcasing credibility within the site.
Not every kegel device offers the same effectiveness and product crediblity that Yarlap does. My leveraging the credibility of the FDA, since Yarlap is an FDA-approved device, we were able to get a leg-up on any competition that offers a less credible product.

E-Commerce Sales focus.
The Yarlap Auto-Kegel Device is the primary product sold by the company, and therefore the main revenue generator. This idea makes it easy to measure the success and efficacy of any website or marketing efforts by measuring the sales of the single product. By improving the website speed, reaching users on social media, search engines, and through email marketing, we were able to generate over $1.5 million of revenue for Yarlap.
