Designing a website for the medical industry typically relies on white space with bright accent colors like greens, blues, and yellows. For the COVID -19 Protected website, we needed a design that was both effective in communicating the industry while also presenting a simple product for sale.
For each different brand, the e-commerce website flow is unique for the product, industry, and overall application. For COVID-19 Protected, we needed a flow that allowed users to be reviewed by a medical professional before allowing a purchase.
Once a user finds a particular product he/she is interested in, the user must upload verification status before being approved for purchase. This membership functionality, while providing a literal barrier to checkout, needed to be as seamless as possible for each potential customer.
