There’s a common misunderstanding in website design for grade schools in that the primary audience is not the student, but rather the parent. In order to effectively market and design a school website, you need to communicate value to the parents in so far as curriculum, events, and more.
School Events Calendar
In order to help the administration communicate and monitor events that take place on the school’s campus, we helped develop a custom design for an events calendar. This calendar can be used for the academic schedule, sporting events, and more.
Communicating Values
In order to separate the Classical Preparatory School from other classical academies, both local and nationally, we picked specific design elements to communicate value and higher-ed. Font choice, main accent color choice, and front page imagery all contribute to the overall aesthetic of this site.
